IMPROVE YOUR CONCENTRATION. LOOK UP AT A GREEN ROOF!

A recent study by the University of Melbourne has shown that looking at a green roof improves concentration. 150 students were given a boring task during the research, during which they were given a 40-second break and then had to do another task.

Half of the group of students looked at a green roof in these 40 seconds, while the other half looked at a bare, concrete roof. After 40 seconds of looking, the research was continued, after which it turned out that students who had been looking at the green roof had much better results.

Green as a boost

Kate Lee, one of the scientists who carried out the research, states that looking at green (such as a green roof) can give tired employees or students a boost, which means they will perform better.

More and more green roofs

There is an increasing demand for green roofs. Not only because it looks beautiful, but also because of the other advantages that a green roof has to offer. These include less noise pollution and a more constant temperature at home or at the office.
